Danyaal Treble sinks Hattersley FC

October 26, 2014
Danyaal Ali was the hero as his hat trick led Greenhill u10s to their first win against Hattersley u10s.  Maybe it was flattering for the u10s as they spent much of the game on defensive as Mohammed Subhan stopped nearly everything and Sufiyan Aslam and Horris Banda defended stoutly to earn the victory. The u10s outstanding counter attacking punch meant every time they got close to the Hattersley's goal they looked like scoring and Danyaal goals proved this.  His first and second goals where scored when he broke past the defence and fired unmarked under the goalkeeper who perhaps should of done a lot better.  At the other end Subhan was saving everything to keep it at 2-0 at the break. The 2nd half was a siege against the u10s goal Subhan again making save after save, however against the run of play Danyaal fired home his 3rd after a ball over the top to make it 3-0.  As the u10s severely tired Hattersley kept going and got their reward when after Subhan made yet again another great save he was unable to grasp the rebound which was fired into an empty net.  Hattersley kept attacking till the end but couldn't find a breakthrough as the u10s hung on for their first win.
