Boundary Park Whites U10′s

October 26, 2014
U10's Brought down to Earth with a Huge Bump in Defeat. After a very encouraging performance on the first day of the U10's season Greenhill's spirits where severely damaged after this heavy defeat against Boundary Park.  Missing stellar performers Horris Banda(injury) and Safiyan Aslam (family wedding) from the first game the U10's where put to the sword by a stronger, more technical and more experienced side.  The U10s started brightly and had an earlier chance to score, but this was soon a distance past thought as Boundary Park raced into a 5-0 half time lead, the 3rd goal was a brilliant lob, but the 5th was sublime with shades of Philippe Albert's lob against Manchester United all those years ago.  After a stern grilling at half time the U10's came out and scored a consolation in the form of Danyal Ali strike.  In fact Ali was the only Greenhill player who showed any promise as he worked very hard in a losing cause.  Any thoughts of a comeback where squashed as Boundary Park showed their domination by add 4 further goal to make it a final score of 9-1.  Although it was a very disappointing show the lads where taught a footballing lesson and hopefully they will come back strong in their next league game...
